Relief Counselor – Emergency Shelter
PT Relief Counselors to work at our crisis shelter for teens. EOE.

Relief staff are expected to work a minimum of one 8-hour shift per month.

• Coach and supervise residents

• Conduct individual counseling session and life skills group workshops

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy living environment

• Answer crisis hotline calls

Requirements:

• BA in social work or related field required

• Experience with teens preferred

• Ideal candidate is a self-starter, high energy, well organized, multi-tasker

• Must be willing to undergo a background investigation prior to employment and be willing to be certified in CPR and First Aid. 

Salary: $11.50/hr

Overnight Relief Counselor – Emergency Shelter
PT Relief Counselors to work at our crisis shelter for teens. 11pm-9am shift. EOE.

Overnight Relief staff are expected to work a minimum of one 10-hour shift per month.

**We are not actively looking to fill this position, but we always accept resumes for the Overnight Relief Counselor position because openings can occur at anytime.

Responsibilities: 

• monitor residents

• provide case management

• thoroughly document resident files

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy living environment

• Answer crisis hotline calls

Requirements:

• BA in social work or related field required

• Ideal candidate is a self-starter, high energy, well organized, multi-tasker
